In the first episode of Humans of Authenticity, we have the privilege of sitting down with Samyuktha Neeraja, MPH, CAE, the State Associations Relations Manager II at the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology. I first met Samyuktha in Detroit, and very quickly, I knew that we had many shared values. I’m grateful that she agreed to join me on my very first episode and was very open in the stories she shared.
Samyuktha is an accomplished Program Manager with a remarkable background in healthcare association management. With a Master’s degree in Public Health and a wealth of experience in her field, Samyuktha brings a unique perspective to the table. But it’s her passion for Disability Advocacy and her commitment to fostering Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) that truly sets her apart.
Join us as Samyuktha opens up about her journey to be brave and embrace authenticity. As a Disability Advocate, she believes that authenticity is not just about being true to oneself, but also about advocating for those whose voices are often marginalized. She discusses how authenticity and bravery intertwine, highlighting the courage it takes to live openly and authentically, especially in professional spaces. Throughout the conversation, Samyuktha has demonstrated that embracing authenticity isn’t just a personal choice, but a step towards driving meaningful change. I personally think that being brave means to be afraid but to go for it anyway. Samyuktha’s stories bring this to life in this episode.
